Au Filet de Sole changed its name to Octopus and remains a top-notch restaurant with a new formula, a small, ever-changing menu featuring surprising dishes and sublime flavors. Refined, high-quality cuisine at very affordable prices! Chef Claude has a refined palette and works exclusively with premium ingredients, fresh to your plate. All flavors are ingeniously balanced, a true delight for the gourmet. Octopus skewers, dishes with Thai influences, and a selection of purely Belgian dishes—everything is carefully prepared and perfectly prepared. Incidentally, the homemade cheese croquettes are also top-notch and deserve a solid 10/10.

A superb culinary experience! I've known this establishment for almost 10 years, and I can tell you that the quality is consistent at every level. From the first time until today, we've enjoyed ourselves, not only with our mouths but also with our eyes. A lovely and delicious gem in De Panne. Beautiful, refined, and warm plates. Fresh ingredients. Delicious wines. Fast and friendly service, and still affordable. Thank you, Sylvie and Claude, for the warm welcome! It was our first time, but we'll be back.

A superb discovery! It was our first time at Octopus, and certainly not our last. The welcome was very warm and professional, the restaurant is not overly large and very well appointed, and the decor and tableware are tastefully chosen. As for the cuisine, we were charmed by the small and varied menu, and the tasting only confirmed our impressions: refined and perfectly paired flavors, generous portions, and a very aesthetically pleasing presentation.

It was delicious. Excellent value for money for the area (menu at 45 euros). We enjoyed the tuna as a starter, the sole as a main course, and the pistachio tiramisu/crème brûlée for dessert. Open kitchen, perfect service! We will be back.

Even though the formula has changed, we find, on our plates, the culinary genius of Chef Claude. A taste journey is offered to you in the different preparations and invites you to a change of scenery. The flambéed crepe for dessert is exceptional. In short, book without thinking!
